Eastnor Probate Material 1601-1620

Nuncupative will of Walter Belamye, 1607, Herefs. RO 10/1/28

There are 13 surviving wills for Eastnor people in this period. None have accompanying inventories, but many of the wills give a great deal of information about farming stock and household goods. There is only one woman amongst them, a widow. The majority of the them appear to have been involved with agriculture, at least to some degree, but there are also a timberman, adyer and a weaver, a servant, and the rector of Eastnor.
