Dummer census 1851-1901

Extract of Dummer census 1891

Dummer parish lies 6 miles south west of Basingstoke just 1km south of junction 7 on the M3. The prevailing employment in the period 1851-1901 was farming. The village was dominated by large houses with many domestic servants.

The six census from 1851-1901 have been transcribed by VCH Hampshire volunteers. Place names have been given the modern spelling and where script is difficult to read or text is missing, square brackets have been used.
