Will of William Dobson, 1731

William Dobson, rector of Cliddesden and Farleigh Wallop 1678 to 1731

Rector for 53 years, at his death William Dobson held £100 that had been left to the poor of Cliddesden and willed that the principal and interest be paid, as well as bequeathing a further £100 for the same purpose. President of Trinity College, Oxford, he also left gifts for the poor people of Garsington and St. Mary Magdalene, Oxford.
