The will of Thomas Danford the elder, yeoman, 1652

This is a transcript of the will of Thomas Danford the elder, yeoman, dated 20 April 1652. It was proved on 4 October 1654, but because of the gap in the burial registers from April 1641 until July 1666 we do not know when he died.

This is a very detailed will, making a number of charitable bequests as well as detailed arrangements for his wife to have the use of his house and farm, called Dollets, during her life, before passing to his great nephew, also Thomas Danford.
