Will of Stephen Webb, minister, 1660

Webb left considerable money and his books in Oxford to his son. His will is very brief but he described the ‘sad divisions and causeless dissentions’ caused by the Quakers, Armenians, Antinomians, Socinians and Anabaptists. All these sects increased tensions during the civil war period. No inventory survives.
