The will of Mary Haynes of Timberscombe

Mary Haynes was an unmarried woman who died prematurely. She was probably living at Bickham in Timberscombe with her sister Margaret, wife of Peter Elsworthy.  Made in 1644 and proved in 1646 her will gives a fascinating insight into the possessions of a well-to-do young woman of the period.
