Will of Leonard Mulforde/Mulford, 1573

Mulford/Mulforde was probably a widower with three sons and three daughters and he left specific bequests to each, and to his sister and cousin. He possessed two swords, the distinction of a gentleman. He also left weapons including guns, halberd, and daggers to all three sons and the leases of both a smithy and a fulling mill to two of his sons. His wife’s jewellery went to the eldest daughter, and household equipment to them all. No inventory survives.
