Will of James Wyther, Gent, 1658

Wyther left bequests to the poor of Basingstoke, Old Basing, Bentworth and Baughurst. He also left money to his sons in law and grandchildren and £20 to his wife on condition that she relinquished all claim to his estate. If she caused a dispute she was to only receive 1s. No inventory survives.
