Will & inventory of Gilbert James, gentleman, 1681

This is a transcript of the will of James Gilbert, gentleman, dated 29 October 1681 and proved at the Prerogative Court of Canterbury. The accompanying inventory is in poor conditions and difficult to read. It contains many interesting items. From the will, it is apparent that James Gilbert leased the farm known as Lowshurst, which seems to have been on the northern border of Eastnor, adjacent to Ledbury.
