Will of Anthony Read/Rede

Rede held land in Holt which he left to his brother Edward together with sheep, cattle and corn. Edward was to pay the rent to Anthony’s wife and young daughter until she came of age. He also left bees in Heather Row to his brother and bequeathed the hire of a cow for four years to contribute to the repairs of the lane and afterwards to the church of Nately Scures.
