Will and memorandum of John Cowdry, fellmonger, 1636

Cowdrey was a fellmonger, or dealer in skins, who had horse hides and other leather in his inventory. He also had wool and stock cards.  His land in Basingstoke was restricted to a garden with beans, peas and cabbages but he also had a house and lands in Tadley where he practised mixed farming.
