Will and inventory of William Temple, yeoman, 1624

Temple was a farmer with nearly 70 acres of land in the common fields. He had 230 sheep. 1624 Churchwardens’ accounts: knell & breaking ground 8s 8d; gift to church 12d; he was tenant of St John’s Farm. Probably father of William Temple, farmer 1656.
