Will and Inventory of William Reading/Redyng, 1574

Reading/Redyng had mixed crops on 17 acres, two spinning wheels, green wood and general household items which he left to his wife and son. He specified that his wife should remain in the house which they shared with their son and he, the son, should not ‘meddle’ with it. He died owing debts of £1 13s. 8d., including 16s. to Dummer church.
