Will and inventory of William King/Kynge, Up Nately, 1558

Kynge was a very substantial farmer with an inventory valued at £89. He possessed 39 cattle and 120 sheep. The King/e family were tenants of Corpus Christi College, Oxford copyhold 8, now Eastrop Farm, but the records do not survive to confirm that William was one of these tenants but it is very likely.
