Will and Inventory of William Blunden, husbandman, 1631

Blunden was either unmarried or widowed without children. He had a connection with Ellisfield, leaving 40s to the poor people of that parish and 20s. to Ellisfield church, as well as similar sums to the poor of Cliddesden and to Cliddesden church. At his death he had only his clothes, a coffer, two sheep and two old swords, total value £2 14s., although he was owed £90.
