Will and inventory of Robert Walker, schoolmaster, 1637

Walker was described as a schoolmaster and he was clearly involved with the church in Basingstoke to which he left a velvet pulpit cushion. He appears to be unmarried and living in one room in someone’s house. The only substantial item on his inventory was the debts owed to him – perhaps for tuition
