Will and Inventory of Richard Williams, bachelor, 1604

Williams’ will of 1604, which was in Latin, left an estate valued at £32 13s. 6d., which included seven pigs, a bullock and 58 sheep and lambs, plus 17½ acres of cereals and fodder. He left £10 to the daughter of one of his sisters and his bullock to his other sister’s daughter. After gifts to the poor of the parish and to the church he also gave 5s. to his mother-in-law.
