Will and Inventory of John Grene/Green, husbandman, 1588

Green/Grene was a husbandman and left his working tools to his son. A second son and two daughters received useful household items and clothing either at the time of his death or when his wife deceased or remarried. He left 1s. to the parson and Dummer church. His inventory listed modest crops on just four acres of land, two cows, one pig and some poultry. The total amounted to £8 4s. 7d.
