Will and Inventory of John Grantham/Grauntam, yeoman, 1570

Grantham’s inventory valued at £86.19.7 included 225 sheep ‘of all sorts’, 41 a. of wheat and 3 a. of vetches. An early record of 10 turkeys is of interest, as well as ferrets presumably used for catching rabbits at nearby Hatch.
