Will and Inventory of John Bickner, husbandman, 1615

Bickner was a husbandman who rented a property in Upton Grey. He died aged 29, leaving no children, thus his main bequest was to his unborn child to which he left £50 in trust. His estate was valued at some £80, the major asset being a bond for £50. He also left £5 to his mother and just 12d. each to his three brothers.
