Will and Inventory of Joan Fielder/Felder, widow, 1606

Fielder was the widow of Arthur (d. 1602) but requested that she should be buried next to her first husband Edward Watlingtone in Nately Scures churchyard. She left domestic items, wheat and barley to her two daughters except for 4 bushels of each to pay for her funeral. She had sizeable amounts of stored corn and five and a half acres on the ground. Only one cow, one bullock, a sow and piglets are listed in the inventory; no sheep.
