Will and inventory of George Lee, tanner, 1640

Lee was a tanner who also had property and lands in Basingstoke and Sherborne St John. His business was on a grand scale as he had 82 sides of leather and 42 calf skins in his tanning yard at the time of his death, valued at £63. He was also owed £141 on a bond.
