Will and inventory of Ambrose Dimming/Dymyng, blacksmith, 1550

Dymyng was a blacksmith and left his two anvils and tools in Basingstoke to his son John. He made small bequests to some of his children and left (the proceeds of sale) of his best anvil after ten years to be divided amongst his five youngest children. He also had a malt mill, 14 acres of crops and 40 sheep with other livestock in an inventory totalling over £69.
