Two early 17th-century visitors to Minehead

Minehead saw thousands of visitors annually in the 17th century but few have left accounts of their visit. Thomas Gerard of Trent and the Sieur de la Boullaye le Gouz, however, have left fleeting impressions of their visits to the town.
