TIMBERSCOMBE MEN IN FIRST WORLD WAR

In 1919 the parish vestry collected details of the Timberscombe men who served or were killed in the First World War so that they might all be remembered and not just those whose families could afford memorials. Some details are missing but for most the unit in which they served and their dates and place of death were recorded.
