Sweet's Hotel Inventory

A room by room listing of the most valuable furnishings in the hotel gives us a rare glimpse of the interior of a new high class hotel in the 1830s. Not everything was new and family tableware testifies to Mary's background in the hotel business.

The hotel had a system of bells, gas was laid on and in addition to washstands bidets and foot tubs were provided.
