Stogursey mill wheel

The mill pit still holds the frame of the overshot waterwheel made by Culverwell and Co. of Bridgwater. It is 12 ft in diameter and formerly had 36 water buckets. It drove two pairs of millstones: Derbyshire or Peak millstone grit stones for coarse grinding of animal feeds and French burr stones for bread flour.
