Protestant nonconformity in the Keinton Mandeville area
Methodism flourished in Keinton Mandeville during the great quarrying era of the 19th and early 20th centuries. Both Wesleyans and Bible Christans were established in the village. Neighbouring Barton St David had an earlier Independent chapel built in 1804.
