Nuncupative will & inventory of Thomas Walter, yeoman, 1683

This is transcript of the numcupative will and probate inventory of Thomas Walter, yeoman, who died on 12 july 1683. the day before he 'uttered' before witnesses his will that his goods should go to his wife Elizabeth 'to breed up his children'. This was put into writing on 16 July, as two of the witnesses, Elizabeth Greene and Anne Webley, later swore in court. An inventory of his goods was taken on 18 July but probate was not finally given until 2 December 1684.
