Milestone 1913 at Frackford

This milestone was erected at Frackford south of Dunster when the road was aligned and a new road bridge built in 1913. Frackford was a small hamlet and a centre of the cloth fulling industry in the early modern period but two small plots and a length of wall by the mill leat are all that survive to mark the sites.
