Inventory of William Warner senior, maltster 1681

Warner was a maltster with considerable amounts of barley and malt amounting to nearly £60. His inventory listed several rooms with large amounts of pewter but the small quantity of bedding suggests it was for personal use rather for running an inn. Perhaps he supplied malt or ale to other innkeepers.
