Inventory of William Mulford 1584

Mulford was a farmer whose main wealth came from his sheep, a mixed flock of 147. He also had 14 cattle of varying sorts and few pigs and horses. He had crops in the barn and in the ground. His house was modest but well equipped and with his apparel he left a sword. His estate amounted to £63 18s. but he had debts of £30, leaving his wife and executrix £33 18s. to raise their two children.
