Inventory of William Boswell, gentleman, 1613

Boswell’s inventory listed the furniture and equipment of a well-appointed house, with luxury items such as silver spoons, a looking glass, gold ring and seven books illustrating his status as a gentleman at the start of 17th century. He had crops in the ground, and farming equipment, but only animals for his family use. Total value £83 5s. 0d.
