Inventory of Roger Smith, husbandman, 1615

Smith’s widow Eliza was granted probate. The estate described was substantial, and his considerable household goods included an English bible and other books, so he seems to have been an educated man. He left a great quantity of various grain crops in the barn, a large flock of 100 sheep, some cattle, pigs and horses, the total value was £261 19s. 8d.
