Inventory of Margaret Omeden, widow of John, 1593

Omeden was the widow of the tenant of Corpus Christi College copyhold number 2. Now called Maple Cottage, it comprised 2 cottages and 16 acres in the 16th century. It appears that Margaret died very shortly after her husband as the goods were recorded as found in her custody and she appears to have been the administrator of her husband’s estate.
