Inventory of Gilbert Dunce, 1613

Dunce’s inventory suggested a small farm and house, modestly equipped. There were crops in the ground, a house cow, pigs for bacon (and three flitches) and 30 sheep. His tools and equipment indicated that he worked with wood; also he had bought timber worth £2 13s. 4d. The total value of his estate was £33 14s. 8d, including £10 for the rest of the lease on his land. Probate was granted to his widow.
