Inventory of George Rogers of Roughmoor

George Rogers had the good fortune to marry an heiress as his first wife and eventually acquired the Roughmoor estate, which later comprised Roughmoor Farm and Roughmoor House. They kept a school and had three children. After his wife's death George married again and settled at Roughmoor House and had a second family. He died on 27 June 1873 in London. His widow and administratrix had the contents valued.
