Independents in Dunster and Minehead

Independents were late in establishing themselves in the area and their first congregation at Alcombe was short-lived. However, in the early 20th century they had more success in Minehead, probably helped by Independent holidaymakers boosting the congregation when Sunday worship was an important part of a family holiday.
