Higher Blacklands farm in Withypool

As farms came to be leased for years rather than lives a system known as rack-renting, landlords obtained higher rents but were concerned that tenants did not enrich themselves at the long-term expense of the land. Amos Hole's lease of Higher Blacklands farm in Withypool came with a long list of covenants.
