Friday Street inventories

In 1668 Friday Street was still the location of Minehead’s largest houses and warehouses around the town hall. Here many merchants lived and stored their commodities. Sadly it was the street that suffered most in the 1791 fire and as rebuilt in the 19th century it was primarily a street of small businesses.
