Dean Lane, Dunster

Dean Lane, so named by 1680 and possibly the 15th-century Dove Lane. Dean Lane was stopped up in 1870 and in 1875 Mr Luttrell claimed it was only an occupation road for fields and his Ellenborough quarry, however it remains useable at least for four-wheeled drive vehicles.[1]
