Cobden Terrace, Street

Also in Wilfrid Road due east of Clark’s factory is Cobden Terrace, designed by G.J. Skipper in 1889. It is in a picturesque Old English cottage style with pantiled roofs and tall red brick chimneys contrasting with walls of lias and Ham stone dressings. A beautiful lantern topped by a weather vane provides a visual focal point.
