The Mills of Milligan Hall

The Mills family history was an extraordinary one. Among those who stayed in Nevis was  John Colhoun Mills who became President of the island. The brothers Thomas and William, however, came to England and settled in Bishops Hull. Although Thomas gave his middle name, Milliken, to his great house, later Milligan Hall he seems to have been best known locally for the size of his coffin!
