Will of John Bourne/Borne, scrivener 1694

Bourne/Borne was a scrivener born in Kingsclere. He left the poor of that parish and those in Basingstoke 10s. He owned cottages, 8 acres of land and an inn called the King’s Head in Basingstoke which he left to his cousin living in the parish of Weston Corbett. No inventory survives.
