Inventory of Richard Knight, yeoman 1693

Knight was a yeoman with a well equipped four chambered house and several out buildings. No will exists, but his inventory listed a dictionary and books and equipment for brewing and cheesemaking. He held 133 acres of land in the common fields of Basingstoke and Cliddesden and 240 sheep as well as carts, rollers, ploughs and wagons. He also listed a chattel lease inherited from his father in Elvetham valued at £986 6s. 9d.
