Will of Joane Acton, widow 1686

Acton was the widow of Edward Acton (d. 1686). It appears that she was still administering her husband’s will as two sons were owed £500 and £600 according to his wishes. She left money for mourning and small bequests to two grandchildren. She specified that if the incumbent of Collingbourne parsonage should die, her son Paul, being qualified should be presented to that parish.
