Will and Inventory of James Fielder, husbandman 1677

Fielder made a strong statement of religious belief and left generous sums of money to his brothers and sisters, nieces, nephews and godchildren. His inventory amounted to £270 of which £265 were debts owed to him – some ‘desperate’ i.e. unlikely to be paid.
