Will of John Millingate, gentleman 1656

Millingate made a declaration of faith placing his hope for everlasting life in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. He asked to be buried with his grandfather and son. He left £6 for the poor of Dummer, £4 for the poor of Basingstoke and 40s. as a stock for Dummer church. Bequests included sums of money for his four daughters, grandchildren, wife and servants.
