Inventory of Agnes Holloway 1603

Holloway left only an inventory which listed her clothes at £2 value, and bedding and kitchen equipment at a further £2 5s. 0d. The greater part of her estate comprised money owed to her by Henry Seasie ( £10) to be paid in two instalments and a smaller debt owed by William Wright of 15s. Henry Seasie was named in William Seasie’s (d. 1594) will as a bricklayer – so perhaps Agnes Holloway had invested her capital in building.
