Inventory and Accounts of William Butler, hosier, 1664-1669

Butler died intestate but the inventory listed stockings in his shop in Basingstoke as well as waistcoats, trousers and ribbon all valued at £93 8s. The accounts of administration submitted by his widow, show what was involved in probate administration and included payment of money due to a London supplier of stockings.
